PAGEANT CAPE

This was a commission for the state pride costume portion of the Mrs. USA Universal 2021 pageant. My client Fawn asked for a cape design that represented the fun college life of Columbia, while still looking refined. I settled on a fun faux fur with tiger stripes for the lining to represent the University of Missouri where her husband is a football coach, while sticking to an elegant black micro-velvet with over 500 rhinestones hand placed across the train.
