NATASHA, PIERRE, AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812: NATASHA'S OPERA GOWN
This look was draped for Natasha as she is making her debut in Moscow society. The gown is off the shoulder, and sits over a boned slip. The straps of the gown are held to the body with ballet elastic to prevent the gown from sliding down. The lace appliques on the skirt are applied with the free motion embroidery foot on a domestic machine.
